Almost There

Finished the feet and supports yesterday and dryfit all the parts. All that’s left to do is trim the tabletop to its final dimensions (and round over the edges) and glue-up the feet and supports. Then a few hours of final cleanup and light sanding to prepare for the finish.

The feet and supports cut, tapered, and notched. That dark hunk of wood in the background is the scrap leftover from making them.

Another look.

Everything dryfit. I made a last minute edit and moved the middle foot to the top of the base. I think this is a lighter look, simpler, and more practical once chair legs and feet get involved. The additional support under the tabletop won’t hurt, either.
